At least she is a very shallow draught so you won't struggle with the bar crossing at bembridge. Not sure I'd want to go too far out in her though. Do you plan to put a bigger engine on her?
No not far from a couple of hundred yards to a mile out, as for a bigger engine yes but I’m having to save up for that

Welcome Robin. Nice boat. Is there a hull information plate anywhere on the boat? Often found on the inside of the transom.
Thanks for your reply I don’t think there is unless it’s under the rear seat have a look see if you can see anything please. Many thanks

Thats a scary looking trailer, is it just a launch trolly or an actual road trailer ? hope you check the wheel bearings before towing any distance. I can't say its any model I recognise. It always fun having a project to tinker with, where will you be using the boat ?
Yes the trailer is just for slipway launching you are right it’s not road worthy. I will be using her out of Bembridge harbour only a mile out there are some great Bass and Plaice spots I know that I can’t wait to get back to 😉thanks for your reply

Hi I’m introducing Lowrance plotter fish finder and a vhf radio to my fishing boat I’m thinking of having the 12v battery being kept charged by a solar panel with a controller. Has anyone had any experience of installing such a set up please?
Many thanks -

JDP I took your advice and have purchased a solar panel kit which includes a solar controller that is suitable for SLB batteries so thanks again for your wise and knowledgable advice. Cheers
