Ooh! What did I miss??
Back on now using a 4G dongle on the router, which is hitting a site across town through a valley, as the local site has dropped back to 3G.
My iphone seems to be sticking with the local site on 3G ............. weird

I see this new thing that @GPSguruis doing that is replying with memes is a total capitulation of any last remaining fight that the mean old bastard might have had. Now when he gets a twitch in his pants he has to go scrolling through the interweb looking for things to say.
I accept you unconditional surrender but offer No terms. -

Are you of Italian descent? No, the vodafone BB has gone on a temporary holiday here and GSM must be busy as it is way slow and dropped to 3G
I will be back laters with a suitable reply to the resident fuckwit 🙄

Although this is most chuckle-worthy I can only give you a 7/10. Would have been a 9 but I had to mark you down for the poor spelling and grammar.
Ok geoff 🤣🤔🙄

It’s getting a bit heated in here because @JDP posted some stuff up and @Saintly Fish isn’t actually overly concerned about the safety of the person who is dragging their poorly designed but more convenient anchor down Southampton water.
I’ve done what I can here to try to help everyone but now I’m being made out to be the bad guy. 🤷🏻 -

I would like to agree Neil, but the button does not offer suitable punishers for the unfunny gobby git. 🤣🙄😇

Would a 1kg with 6mm chain be ok?
Yes.

2kg Bruce 👍
You can get 1.5kg, but not so common.
still go with a metre or two of 6mm chain to make sure the Bruce digs in el pronto.

Though most new outboards have the sticker station they can run on e10, you will not find any dealership that recommends using it.
Most of our local dealers recommend using an additive like quickstor all E10 motors. This is due to the drying properties of the ethanol, which over time reduces pump and injector life.

Afternoon gents,
Getting the boat ready to go back on the water and usually get last years petrol taken out when it’s serviced as there’s not usually a lot in the tank. This year however there’s nearly a full tank so thought I would empty it myself and stick it In the wife’s car. But do I really need to ? the boat came out the water in October (i think I filled it up in august) and I always use premium fuel not the E10 crap and I did put stabiliser in. Or is it just best practice to change it regardless ?
tia
I use E10, mainly because my engine is designed to use it, and I do a lot of Nm, so it is a bit cheaper. Also, I use my boat all year round, there is some good fishing to be had in the winter months !
However, I also treat the fuel with Mercury Quickstor, just in case the boat is laid up for any length of time. Quickstor maintains the octane and also stops the Ethanol from separating in the fuel. Another advantage is its lubrication properties for the fuel system and injectors.
With E5 in your tank after just a few months, then just get on and use it, the engine will be fine

Today was just a day of trialling a couple of things. We tried using the plastic bag bait dropper system and it worked perfectly, our system of breaking out of rough ground and dropping onto a specific mark.
Two out of three ain't bad 😀
I used to do it that way, but now I use a large bait dropper, and it's a very good tool..............

You could say that we were fishing the scour, but that might not be totally correct 😉
Usually on the downtide side of the wreck where the tide flow increases. Not always easy to predict or see, but generally the position of the scour is dependant on the orientation of the wreck to the tidal flow and the composition of the seabed substrate.
I often try and fish the ‘scour’ as you can pick up some very decent pollock, with plaice and turbot often present.
I use ‘wrecksite.eu’ as a good source of dived wreck info, and they often detail the scour

14 yr old Grandson asked me about the music of my youth, I told him that is what is on stations like Gold UK etc, but I did say there was some stand out music from when his mum and her brother were younger.
I started off with this, and he understood all the Spanish (he takes after me with the Spanish lingo)
Then this ........
Then this .............
A lastly this ...............(RIP Robert Miles)
He now thinks grandad is cool and wants me to dig out some more ..............😁

ahh for our species comp they usually just want a pic of the mouth if unsure - if the hound happens to be 'starry' - thats an easier ID of them.
There is still a huge debate that smoothounds and starry’s are actually the same specie, just different markings.
Most of mine are Starry’s, but we only get smaller fish here (15lb tops), usually high single to low double.
