  1. 🤣🤣🤣 It is a pity we don't have more Cornish inbreds on here, they are always a good target from Devon folk ! 🤣
  2. I certainly would have gone out today, but have had to go for a blood test, that was quite important. However, after 5 weeks of antibiotics I have shaken off the UTI 👍. Much of the problem was down to the immuno drugs working way too well and pushed my white blood count too low to be of any use in fighting off anything, but when the doc and consultant got together, it is now hopefully sorted. Bring on the flat seas and calm weather.
  3. Personally I would not want that particular engine in a boat. Historically they were bad as a motor vehicle engine. If it uses a lot of oil, there is more than a fair the engine has significant issues.
  4. We have watched Sing 2 a number of times since it came out in late Jan, and the grand daughter (aged 6) always gets emotional when this scene comes on,
  5. It seems to not make a huge difference, some boats were done when built, some were done professionally and some were done by the owners. I guess if it is done properly and to the spec of the manufacturer, then it should be Ok. Brother in law's boat was done before he bought it, the coating is now 8 years old and still performs really well. My boat is a 5.85m RIB, so it sits in my driveway on the trailer with a highly polished bum 👍
  6. IIRC the mercruiser 1.7 was the vauxhall astra lump ? Proper unreliable POS, notorious for Turbo, cracked head, and oil cooler issues, so I guess a new engine will be needed.
  7. Yes, it is strange that everywhere is very different. Here in the estuary, the side of the boat the gets most sun, has very significantly mote growth. The water in the estuary here is pretty good, as there are licensed oyster farms, and the wild mussels are fine to eat.
  8. All the boats here with copper coat always come out pretty clean. Those with traditional antifoul usually come out with quite a lot of growth including tons of mussels and a good coating of barnacles.
  9. I suspect Tim will argue that the picture was posted on a social platform without any copyright notice, therefore it is in the public domain !

    Just incredible ...........😲
  11. Seems a very popular misconception then ............ 🤣🤣🤣
  12. Hmm ................ a bunch of leek munchers 🤣 If that is fact, then why is a Welch community centre a sheep tied to a lamp post ? 🤷‍♂️
  13. Yes, I read it all, but thought I would answer your question anyway ........ 😛 Warning ........... SPJ is highly addictive !
  14. Yes, that would work to begin with, and yes, the Rage 25 is available for blue badge holders.
  15. A dedicated SPJ rod like maxel or temple reef etc, and a narrow spool small fast multi ……. Probably about £700 - £800 ish You can use a light spinning rod or a supple 6-12, but TBH you don't get the correct action. Been there and done that.
  16. Well done Leo, this is what memories are made of 👍............. excellent.
  17. All the sheep shaggers are always racist when rugby is involved 🤣
  18. Actually, a female doctor called me today who understands immunosuppression and has put me on an extended 2 week course of antibiotics. Fingers crossed 👍
  19. I doubt whether you will get a new key for win 7 ! upgade the win 10. Download from microsoft and get a key from G2A.com for £20 or less.
  20. Yeah, but at least that don't run around kissing each other every time they score !
  21. Football 🙄 , a bunch of overpaid diva’s kicking a bag of wind around and trying not to ruin their gay hair style. On the other hand, Rugby is a proper mans game.
  22. Hopefully stronger antibiotics might do the trick. This mornings sample looks like I got it from a muddy puddle !
  23. Get well soon bud, the older you get, the more these issues take their toll ! I am just going into Round 4 of a UTI ........... been pissing blood all evening. Being immunosuppressed, the antibiotics don't seem to be having much effect, I'll take a pot of 'blood piss' into the quack tomorrow and see what wonderful ideas they come up with next, as I have been on antibiotics for 3 weeks now .......🙄
  24. Leave it a while .............. TBH, as yet I have not heard anything bad about Win 11, with most users saying it is just a slightly advanced Win 10. I normally leave an OS to run for 12 months before I upgrade, and by this time most bugs will have been ironed out. With regard to Word, excel etc, I am still running office 2010, which works just fine for me and Adobe acrobat XI pro ............ these cost me nothing. I have just built a PC for the youngest Grandson (13) using an intel i5, 1TB SSD, and Nvidia graphics, but I still opted to run with win10 as it is a known entity, and you can buy a key cheap as chips.
  25. TBH, I often prefer it to be quiet when I am fishing, just the sound of the sea ................
