  1. One to brighten things up
  2. https://aubtu.biz/17106/?utm_source=Newdlc&utm_medium=Newdlc&utm_campaign=Newdlc Ginger is not always bad 😉
  3. I’ll need to do some research this winter…. I doubt I’ll ever get one but it’s nice to dream 🤣
  4. Awww no 😢😢😢 Hope that your consultant gets it under control soon. Horrible disease but hopefully you’ll be back out on those winter wrecks in no time making @Andy135 jealous for catching something other than dogfish 😉
  5. Non fishy friends? Do they exist? 🤔🤔🤔 What do you talk about?! 😬😬😮😮
  6. Next door neighbours have had it…. Said it’s been bad. Their daughter brought it home from school. They’ve had a hard time so glad to hear you’re on the mend 🙂
  7. Looks like a sneaky weather window is maybe going to open up…. Large alantic ground swell running on Friday with offshore winds means maybe I’ll be busy surfing but Saturday and Monday have potential for offshore tuna or inshore porgie hunting…. Especially as firing is off for next week…. Im sure it’ll all change by Tuesday or Weds 😬😬😬😑😑😑
  8. No chance…. 4m swells and gale force winds…. long range forecasts for weekend after are a bit more promising…. Spring tides too so hopefully a shark hunt to end the season with 🤔🤔
  9. Oi! I’ve baggsied the turbot, you can have a brill 😉
  10. That would prob do it with my spares 🙂
  11. Dan has done ok west of Hartland point. Refuelling choices ain’t great down there, I don’t think there is petrol in the marina in Padstow so I have to take enough to get there and back and for trips in the middle so careful calculation of distance etc required to see how possible…
  12. Yeah Ilfracombe is the plan, it’s 50 miles each way to hartland point so well doable, just need the weather! I plan to do an overnight in Ilfracombe and make a weekend of it chasing porgies 🙂 Hopefully get my 2022 season off to a good start. Ive already started looking at options to refuel in Ireland to get to the Alantic Shelf to see if can get a 6 Gill….
  13. Only good to mix up the fish with bran. The meat grinder I listed works a treat though, better than garden shredder but similar price 🙂
  14. That’s the issue worth my boat…. Im hoping to get further afield next year, maybe a long weekend in padstow or Newquay for big porgies, but I’m kind so limited by marinas/refilling options sadly. Maybe Ireland? 🤔🤔
  15. Paddle mixer you use for plaster is best 🙂 can make big batches. Just be careful not to knock the bucket over as chum can soon fly in all directions 😂
  16. Erm…. Try a garden shredder, much cheaper and less effort… In the end I went for a meat grinder Check out this….. https://vevor.co.uk/products/850w-commercial-meat-mincer-sausage-maker-stainless-steel-grinder-270-lbs-h?gclid=Cj0KCQjwtMCKBhDAARIsAG-2Eu-w8hSmkojYhp9VpVxGuGtpc0tFOzhmoFxSukylFlhMNrtP31XTMq4aAoRCEALw_wcB it’s what I use, it’s made about 100kg of chum with no issues so far 🙂 There is an advantage is that it doesn’t jam as much and it’s easier to clean 🙂
  17. If it’s sea worthy let me know and can have a look as Bridgend is not far away 🙂 As it stands report him to eBay, it’s a bargain and it’s his fault for listing work no reserve….
  18. Work mates leaving do…. Was going to be 5 of us…. But was a few more in the end….
  19. I use back to back spider hitches for my big reels, easier to tie than Bimini twist but nearly as strong. It’s a loop knot so bulky but I’m not casting so no issues. Uptidibg it’s spider hitch and twist, smaller but still strong, now I’ve dispensed with mono for uptidibg and it’s 40lb braid straight through
  20. It’ll all be rechecked again when I get down there next…. I’m a bit fragile this morning 🤕🤢🤣
  21. I’ve got 2… but they’ve split so I need some new ones. I’m wondering about pink and blue, one for the ladies and one for the gents 🤣🤣🤣
  22. True…. But if it’s stronger and you’re more interested in strength then good to know 🙂
