    I have the fun job of renewing all mine later this year. I’d rather replace before they fail. sounds like an “interesting” trip…. Reminds me of a day coming back in from Celtic Deeps…. 3m swell on your bum, howling Easterly in your face… crew laid down on cabin floor and said “wake me up when we get in or if I’m about to die” Its amazing what your boat can take :S

    Car Jack under your trailer so its off the floor (with boat on it). chock underneath boat to take the weight, lower Jack and voila! Pull trailer out 🙂

    Yep, I used to buy the 10kg blocks and freeze in smaller amounts. if I’m back for the cod this year will do the same now as her I’ve got more freezer space

    Roof mounted lights are ok.... but not ideal.... I’ve got one on roof but I use my rail mounted more often...     Hi, I am not sure how far you are willing to travel but there is a very good charter boat in Portishead that does bass and sole trips, also plenty in Cardiff doing hounds/conger/rays. Plenty of fish to keep things busy and likely to be double figures too 🙂
