Tail whipped by a tope, took all the skin off my lower leg. Hurt like crazy after a few days with green puss coming out. Had to wear shorts to work and flip flops.... Been bitten by dogs numerous times.. Once had a conger eel attach itself to my foot.... that ruined a pair of wellies. Seen damage an angry shark can do so keep a healthy respect for them!

What’s the new update called officially? I’m not sure if my plotter (Simrad NSE12) is compatible. I don’t want to pay for the updated charts unless I know will work on my plotter 🙂

I think it will depend on your fishing. Look at a charter boat. Maybe running a single shaft. He won’t have an aux. However, will most likely be well maintained. One failure mode you need to consider is lack of steering, what happens then on an outboard boat? (Less likely on a shaft?)

Update.... New decals ordered 🙂 Just waiting for postman to drop off now 🙂 The one with white background will on side of cabin. The one with the dark background is what it’ll look on the stern (Gel coat is quite dark). 350 x 660mm each side, 600 x 1140mm, on the stern. £100 all in including design and postage. A lot cheaper than Funkymonkey... Looking forward to seeing the results now 🙂 If nothing else it makes Emma happy that she has added her touch to the boat.... especially as it didn’t include curtains or cushions!!!!

Copper coat.... Been on there 10 years, still going. Hose off slime and back in. I’ll see what it looks like next year but get it redone. Yes it costs more but spread the cost out over the years a d it’s cheaper.... also means less time on the hard when boat comes out the water

Waterproof tackle box, wire cutters, welding gloves for sharking, socks with sharks on them, interesting book on reading the water. Talks about how to spot tidal Eddie’s, rips, whirlpools etc around rivers, reefs etc. Hopefully be interesting for my winter floundering as well as reefing out on the boat. I had some money given me.... so a few reel upgrades in progress along with a new rod upgrade. Now filling eBay with the old stuff to help pay for the new 🤣

Subs are more interesting to look at. The fish study them to see how humans breath underwater. it’s where the phrase “school of fish” came from. As with most school kids abs students they can be easily tempted by sweets abs goodies as we all know this is more interesting than learning.... hence why artificials work so well....

Well that’s the plan for winter 2021. Hopefully moving into my new house in Jan/Feb 🙂 Then sell Emma’s and spend winter doing a van conversion. Idea being if it’s not boat weather can head out camping/hiking with Daisy in the hills/coast 🙂 I’ll prob start more threads on van conversion ideas in a few months.... 🤣
