Defeated 🤣🤣🤣
2m swell on the nose before I left the haven with spray going over the roof and onto the deck. Gave the boat a good wash 🤣🤣
Refuelled for run home or shark trip next weather window 🙂

Toned the swell down now, and significantly smaller once you get past Gower so hopefully with wind and swell and tide following me I can make it home....
My boat is good in a following sea, its a head sea when you get them over to the roof as she rides bow up most of the time anyway...
Not a day for stopping off on the reefs for a few mackerel/bass/pollack that’s for sure!

May not be a trip home..... maybe stuck down there 😮

I’ve got a local decal supplier which has done me lots of big Thresher transfers. I’m not sure you’d get them to you? Possibly in a tube by post. Let me know if you want me to ask them mate?
If you got any contact details that’d great 🙂
im out on boat Tuesday so can measure up and then just need to get it plotted and made 🙂

Have you tried funky monkey ?
Yeah I’m not sure they can recreate from a supplied sketch.... 🤔
First draft is attached, currently being recreated by hand ready for submission....
Hoping to have a shark with a blue on top, else it may just be a black outline.... depends on the print people.

Ok,
im looking for some custom decals for my boat...
Im looking for a printer who can take a hand drawn logo and name and then transfer this to a suitable sized decal.
I think I can get a high definition of the logo over to them to import to Adobe illustrator so that they can manipulate from there.....
Any recommendations? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Well weather still looking like it’s half holding for Tuesday.... last chance to to get back for at least a week....
Strap myself in and ride the swells for 100NM... going to be a long 5-6 hours I think 🤣🤣🤣

Some legends there..... 😮😁

I’ll keep looking at it....
I may take the day off, check the boat over, refil with fuel and pop down to the heads to have a look anyway.... 🤔
If I stick inshore on the way home it maybe doable.... 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Pah
Forecasr has changed again.... Marginal at best for a run home now.... only benefit is that it would be behind me but even so, taking a hammering on the way home dont appeal that much....
Will sulk in corner and consider my options again....

Here is the walk around Cheetah. The problem as I discussed with @British Big Game Fishingis the extended central cabin drastically reduces deck space at the front and the rear with the sloped windows, whereas the Cougar has enough walk around at the front for a person to access but a huge main deck with a vertical window to the cabin which gives so much more room...
Yep! Agree with you there!
Vigilante 33 is also a nice boat, plenty of deck space but it’s a mono hull

Lift
in Fishy Humour
A fifteen year old Amish boy and his father were in a mall. They were amazed by almost everything they saw, but especially by two shiny, silver walls that could move apart and then slide back together again.
The boy asked, 'What is this Father?'
The father (never having seen an elevator) responded, 'Son, I have never seen anything like this in my life, I don't know what it is.'
While the boy and his father were watching with amazement, a fat old lady in a wheel chair moved up to the moving walls and pressed a button. The walls opened, and the lady rolled between them into a small room. The walls closed and the boy and his father watched the small numbers above the walls light up sequentially.
They continued to watch until it reached the last number …and then the numbers began to light in the reverse order.
Finally the walls opened up again and a gorgeous 24-year-old blond stepped out.
The father, not taking his eyes off the young woman, said quietly to his son.....
'Go get your Mother'

Suggestions for a new boat

Legs can be ok if looked after. My boat used to have twin Yamaha legs but after spending 20k to get them fixed and reconditioned he gave up fitted a pod and twin outboards.
Offshore 25 far better boat than an osprey. Osprey doesn’t have much beam so will roll. You won’t get a good one for 20k thoigh 😞
