  7. 2 Team Daiwa 4-10oz uptiders (best uptiders ever made) with Saltist 30s for uptiding (Bargain too good to miss is use slosh 30 before) Shimano Twin Power 12-20lb and TLD5 for reefing (cost me ยฃ40 the pair) old gear but lovely gear ๐Ÿ™‚ other than that is shark gear. Various family members have been given GX2s as Xmas presents for when they come out on the boat ๐Ÿ™‚
  8. The temptation is to keep the throttle down all the way ๐Ÿ˜‰
  9. I can turn at 30 knots but Iโ€™m throttling back as I turn, then returning on the outward part of the apex
  10. Sounds like Daisy..... she waddled down the walkway to the pontoon and dropped small ones all the way down.... I was following after with a poo bag very embarrassed ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
  11. Looking good! Youโ€™ll soon work out how she handles ๐Ÿ™‚ be careful with fast turns at speed. Itโ€™s easier with hydraulic steering but puts a lot of strain on the system, best off throttling back for the turn then throttle down to come out. Else all the torque is absorbed by the steering... you donโ€™t feel it on hydraulic unlike cable when it fights back! looks like youโ€™re trimmed well which is good ๐Ÿ™‚ should take a head sea nicely:) like all things, got to get out there and use it ๐Ÿ˜‰ you need a nice rocket rod holder now ๐Ÿ˜‰ get your rods up there and a pirate flag ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
  12. Good day out gents ๐Ÿ™‚ youโ€™ll need to get it to WOT to check sheโ€™s propped right. Mine wasnโ€™t originally but got it done by Yam ๐Ÿ™‚ If youโ€™re not running a stainless prop Iโ€™d also suggest it for extra 2-3knts as well ๐Ÿ™‚ congratulations on first trip ๐Ÿ™‚ any fish?
  13. Mine has averaged 200 hours per year.....
  14. Whatโ€™s your plans for the weekend then folks? im off to Milford to winterise the boat.... sad times but with lockdown in place not much choice. So Iโ€™ll be bringing my shark gear home for a service and giving the old girl a spruce up in case weโ€™re allowed out to play in a few weeks!
  15. Poor bugger will charge double if the comedy club are watching ๐Ÿคฃ
  16. Foil wrapped 20 mins in oven, serve with green beans and new potatoes (pref home grown) ๐Ÿ˜‹ However, I do feel itโ€™s over rated. Mackerel tastes good As long as itโ€™s fresh.
