Well I’ve had an entertaining day getting quotes for a service and cam belt change on my engines....
I’ve been told it’ll take 25 hours for both engines to service them and do the timing belts
OR
6 hours each to do service and timing belts.... 
so somewhere someone is perhaps going a bit slow.....
 
most expensive quote so far..... £4208 😮😮😮😮😮

I’ve got a sea toilet. Only used it twice....
 
first time was after a night on board and 3 hour steam in heavy seas to Milford haven. I got up at 5am, headed to Milford and dropped the pick in a sheltered bay for some kip. 
 
woke up, had the urge to go, went, flushed.... then opened the door to see a brown stain spreading out in crystal clear water..... heading towards some sailors enjoying their morning coffee.... jumped back in cabin, hauled anchor and headed elsewhere 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, season is over, I’ll leave the straps and doggies to you South coast softies 😉 

Foil wrapped 20 mins in oven, serve with green beans and new potatoes (pref home grown) 😋 
However, I do feel it’s over rated. Mackerel tastes good As long as it’s fresh.

im off to Milford to winterise the boat.... sad times but with lockdown in place not much choice. So I’ll be bringing my shark gear home for a service and giving the old girl a spruce up in case we’re allowed out to play in a few weeks!

You’ll soon work out how she handles 🙂 
be careful with fast turns at speed. It’s easier with hydraulic steering but puts a lot of strain on the system, best off throttling back for the turn then throttle down to come out. Else all the torque is absorbed by the steering... you don’t feel it on hydraulic unlike cable when it fights back! 
 
looks like you’re trimmed well which is good 🙂 should take a head sea nicely:)

Sounds like Daisy..... she waddled down the walkway to the pontoon and dropped small ones all the way down.... I was following after with a poo bag very embarrassed 🤣🤣🤣🤣
