Andy135
Took Emily for an hour's fluff chucking this afternoon. Our preferred lake was unexpectedly shut, so we moved on to another local lake that has a reputation as a tough water to fish. I've caught here previously but it makes you work for your trout and wasn't going to be ideal for a youngster to keep interested. That said it was a lovely way to spend some one to one time together. We dropped a couple of fish that came off before the net, so at least we were tempting the fish enough to bite but sadly the clock beat us in the end. No fish but a nice memory made. Saintly Fish
You should try it from a boat, see if she enjoys it that way too. Something like a Parker 800 has a lovely deck space for this type of activity! Emily does seem to be concentrating hard ! Andy135

The Kingfisher Pond at Sportfish is where we wanted to go on Sunday but they were shut. It's a great little pond for the youngsters. The main lake is a bit harder to fish but can be prolific once you work out where the fish are and what they're taking.
