I did say "covered" switches. As in they need a flip up safety cover so that people's arses can accidentally turn the switches on if they lean against them. You know the position of my deck light and deck wash switches. #notspoonfedatall

Andy135
On a more serious note, there don't appear to be marine grade rockers with hard covers available. Best I could find seems to be this sort of switch. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Heschen-Rocker-Switch-Terminals-Waterproof/dp/B07438Q5ZZ/ref=asc_df_B07438Q5ZZ/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=344362092444&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7250017041231230622&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1007158&hvtargid=pla-422167439033&psc=
suzook12
Actually, for outside the boat, those carling switches are bang on as actually IP66/68 rated, others are merely splashproof. It would be easy to find a lid that could flip over them to protect them against leaners. RS sell the carling ones, I dare say they could provide a cover as well if you spoke to them. Both switches next to each other, to the right of the sliding door.

suzook12
Oddly, even blue sea covered switches are only water resistant. Slight adaption, how about this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363226317794?hash=item5491f9c3e2:g:3ZoAAOSwTllf~UeT&var=632406458399

What I really wanted was a water proof switch with a big pull up protective flap (like a nuke button). But they don't seem to be available waterproof. Andy135
What about a waterproof toggle switch... https://www.marinesuperstore.com/wiring/switches/blue-sea-w-deck-black-toggle-switch-boot-cover With switch cover. https://www.switchelectronics.co.uk/collections/toggle-switch-covers.
