Well dangled. Sounds like the beads saved the day for you 👍

Must have been something about the date on Sunday as we had anchor troubles too. But that may have been down to user error. Possibly. 😳

Been using them for a few yrs and always seem to do OK

As for the anchor, there's been reports of a ghost net in the area where ours got stuck

C'mon tell us about the anchor, what did he do wrong 😁

Sadly I was the user. Thought I was being helpful by motoring slowly uptide while he was up front on the windlass retrieving the anchor. Got the line caught between the pulpit GRP and the stainless edge of the bow roller, and we had to get creative to remove it. Took us about 10 mins of huffing, puffing and maneuvering before we worked it free.

And you would have been helpful had I known you were going to do it!! But hey, you didn't get thrown overboard and we resolved the issue, with just minor bendage ! 🤣

what charter were you on?

we were out on sunday and had non stop bream all day (also using small yellow beads) but to be fair in Weymouth if the bream are there they become a nuisance!

sounds like you had a good day though! apart from the weather!

Celtic Warrior with Colin Baker, it's a small (25ft) boat and he only takes 6/7

There were just 5 on Saturday, which was fine, I think 7 would be crowded if everyone had loads of gear

5 + skipper sounds crowded on a 25 footer

It's good sized deck and he didn't really have to come out of cabin doorway as most of the fish could be easily handballed up and over the gunwhales
