I picked up some frozen king prawns this afternoon... from Waitrose no less! 🤣 Best fed plaice in the sea! Use a watch lead to puff up the sand and a fairly short trace of about 30cm ........... best of luck, and don't forget to give your boat a once over before you go, batteries, engine oil level and colour, steering check, and gearbox in /out of gear check ......... I know it is telling granny how to suck eggs, but no harm in reminding you ! .... best of luck to you bud......... Odyssey
Well.... I didn’t get fishing 😢😢😢 All is well with the boat but the water fuel separator bowl is leaking. I undid the drain plug, but it won’t do back up... it’s a cheap part and on order. Everything else is fine and ready to go 🙂 🙂 GPSguru and JonC 1
Andy135
Ah, what a bum! How come it won't do up again?
JDP
Every boat ramp and carpark in our town are crammed full, literally hundreds of boats at each of our 6 ramps. I won't get my boat out until things have quietened down after the easter break. For a small town of 8000 residents we currently have approximately 3000 trailer boats from out of town. Odyssey
It won’t do up again as it’s reverse thread on the drain tap and I let a leftie undo it..... Fair dos to Emma she was polishing hull, cleaning bilge and I asked her to fit the second fuel filter.... it got twisted too far and “just came off”.... sheared off 🤣🤣🤣 New part arrived, was only after a bowl, but got a complete top cap, filter and bowl so got a few spare parts at least so not all bad 🙂 Top service from Specialist Small Craft, ordered at 14:30 Thursday, here 11am on a Bank Holiday. Great service 🙂 GPSguru

I have tried to explain to you in an earlier thread, lefthandedness is one of God's special gifts, but like FS's your/you're problem you just do not understand. Well done Emma (I told you she was a keeper). Geoff.

I have had worm from Dave's tackle in Gosport this year and it was good quality, I will be giving Cosham tackle ago as they look to have had some nice worm these last few weeks on their FB page and it's a new shop which has opened this year so will give it a try, they claim to be the cheapest in the area. Steve I have used Cosham angling the worm is top notch and at £16 per pound very good price. Although I normally use Rovers in Fareham whose worm is also very good
